My weekend treat. Call me a sucker for targeted beer-bike products. Like last year when I had to have the Malteni beer – packaged in Molteni colours (Molteni was the famed sponsor and currently coveted jersey of Eddy Merckx in his heyday). Saw this at the supermarket and had to take it home. Quite decent, so it will be a six-pack, next time.

There are more beers in Belgium than a person can taste in a year. Not if your liver is important. And this one steps in at 7.5%. A far cry from the sub-3% American beers. Even 5% Canadians. But craft beers are developing worldwide and giving hope. This one is definitely a post-ride beer, once safe at home.
