The national and international refusal to accept the ban US President Trump has implemented against a number of Muslim-majority countries had its presence in Brussels, today, with an emergency demonstration at the Bourse in the capital’s city centre. But this is a smaller event to what will happen on May 24 when Trump visits Brussels for a NATO discussion.
The opposition to what has been decried as undemocratic, illegitimate, unAmerican, unconstitutional, has brought hundreds of thousands of Americans onto the streets and into the airports of major US cities. And then around the world.
The ACLU has petitioned against the ban with considerable success.
And the Governor of Washington has held a press conference, speaking in unwavering clarity, that the President Trump action is illegal, immoral and his administration incompetent. At the time of this post, the video has been seen over 19.3 MILLION times.

I doubt there is a Facebook or social media user who has not seen their feed fill with updates from friends, colleagues, associates, family…
I await May 24. It will not matter if the ban is still in place. This will be a demonstration against the tenets of the the current administration. A refusal of what is overwhelmingly condemned as racist, xenophobic and harkening back to some of the darkest periods in modern history.
