London calls you back, time and time again

“I just came to London yesterday with my bike. I cycled in from Luton with a 20kg pack on my back and, after 30 kms, I stopped. I quit and caught the train. I kind of miss the noise, the big city life. Everyone is going somewhere. I told my friend I might be 40 minutes, but as soon as I got back on the street I was flying. I saw some couriers and thought they would be fast and I caught them and passed them easy. I was so fast. I am riding a Dolan Precursor fixed gear. That is a really entry level track frame used in many velodromes as a rental, but has also participated in World Cups and other events. So even as an entry, it is really light and stiff and cheap as hell.”
