Ahooga Folding Bikes: “We have sold over 300 of the bike so far, so that is over one per day, and that is right on target. And we are making changes, so the braking will be even better – but the basic bike has not changed. It weighs about 10 kilograms, so it is very light for a folding bike. And now we can sell the bikes in 21 colours – that is the complete RAL range that they use in steel manufacturing. That one behind me is electric. And we have plans for a new model – but I am not telling you about that.”

Notes: This is Ahooga bikes – I stumbled across them at the bike polo match during European Mobility Week in Brussels. Ahooga is the new folding bike that has been created and developed in Belgium. It was first posted to This Is My Bike last year, about this time. Since then, they have started sales and have opened a shop in the capital. I was luckier this time, and they let me take it away for a quick spin around the block. .. I still love the bike.
