@Barry Sandland/TIMB – “I was nervous about doing this but it really is not that hard. I’m going to come back with some friends who want to ride the track. Maybe I can show them the basics.”

Notes: When I started the Thisismybike account, I searched for a collection of bike-oriented accounts to follow. Something that I would find entertainment.

@bicyclesforkaiama, the account is a mass of bicycle-connected images inspired by her connection to her sister. It was not long before we were well aware of each others accounts, the deviations for bike trips and cycling cafés…

So, no surprise that we finally met when I was is the UK recently. This trip was a velodrome.

Next visit, off to discover some hidden cycling café.
