“I work with Flanders Today as a journalist. I cover pretty much anything that is happening. I am the guy, when other journalists do not want to go somewhere, I am the one to do it. I was a journalism student years ago and then I came here for school. But, to be honest, I did not enjoy the school, the program, so I decided to leave without any kind of job to depend on. Than I called the newspapers and said I was a former journalism student and I wouldn’t mind trying a few assignments.
“Most recently I have been working on how dirty Brussels is. How much trash there is everywhere.
“I speak the bare minimum of Dutch but I always manage to find subjects to speak to me in English. And just about anyone in Flanders speaks English.”
