I tend to do a basic Google search for COP21Paris movement. To see if there might be some advance, some agreement, that would make this gathering leave me wth greater hope than in past years. The latest has been the 100 countries coalition that has gathered, including the USA, to bring about a new agreement for 100% renewable energy by 2050. That is three and a half decades and seems to reach of far into the distance. But, of course, there will be a constant advance to the goal.  Hopefully something to see on the journey.

That the USA has signed up is a great relief. The country has been a reluctant participant in previous accords, though they have a counter-balance in their Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Now AVAAZ is running a petition to present to key countries to encourage their participation in the agreement.

The Paris talks are considered key as, with a failure to find some substantial agreement on reversing or halting climate change, then the world will lack any collection action. It will all be left to the individual efforts of countries.
