“I am riding across Canada. All of Canada. I am doing about 60 to 100 kilometres a day.”

Photographer’s notes: There is something naive about this effort, but slap encouraging. If you see mot people making a massive cycling trip, there are panniers and saddle bags, tents and sleeping bags, food and cameras… This rider is making the effort with a sports bag over his shoulders.

He sleeps where he stops, under the stars or on a roadside – and he is making his way across the country slowly.

At first, I thought he was takin on too much, that the trip could not be done if not better panned. But it works for him and he has made it fit his lifestyle.

I had ridden off a few kilometres when I realised I could have given him one of my water bottles and a cage. .. Sorry.
