Over 1,000 cyclists banded together yesterday, on Belgium’s national holiday, to parade through the city. It was both a fun day out and a message about the presence and importance of cyclists in the city. And from standard (common) bikes to double-decker tall bikes, Bullitt bikes that carried sound systems and a mass of rider appearing in some sort of North American native indian guise, it became a four hour ride in a day with incredible sunshine.
It was a day for images – so I will be updating the site with three or four images every day for a few days. More than enough to celebrate.
