There should always be room for something personal and comforting when travelling. Some people want a Scrabble set, others a favourite sweater. There is something reassuring about taking your own bike on travels. Foldables make sense for the daily city commuter, since the bike often rides for free. But having a full frame road bike when abroad is a wonderful luxury.
