Defining the essential limits

©Barry Sandland/TIMB – Trains and Bromptons seem the natural combination. This one gets a daily ride of 36 kilometres.

“I am with the Ministry of Defence as a researcher in the field of rights for the public. For example, if the military is to be on the road, if they replace the police, what are their limits? Where can they go, what are they allowed to do?”

Photographer’s notes: Another train, another Brompton, another every day rider. And another who finds the simplicity of the Brompton a solution to adding a train journey to the commute. With a daily trip of 36 kilometres, it is enough to press the limits of what a Brompton can offer.
